Terms of Service

This is a general summary and should be reviewed by qualified counsel before launch.

Bookings & quotes

Quotes are tailored to your party, dates, and chosen services, and are confirmed in writing before any payment. A booking is confirmed once a deposit is received and we have acknowledged it.

Permits & eligibility

Travel in Tibet requires a Tibet Travel Permit and an organized, guided tour. We apply for the permits required for your itinerary on your behalf after booking, using the passport and visa details you provide. Permit issuance is ultimately at the discretion of the relevant authorities; we cannot guarantee approval and will advise you promptly of any issue.

Payments

A deposit confirms your booking, with the balance due before departure as set out in your booking confirmation. Payment methods and schedules are stated at the time of booking.

Changes & cancellations

Cancellation terms are set out in your booking confirmation and depend on how far before departure you cancel and on supplier policies. We will always set these out clearly in writing before you pay.

Travel insurance

Comprehensive travel insurance — including coverage for high-altitude travel and medical evacuation — is strongly recommended and may be required for certain itineraries.

Health & altitude

Tibet is a high-altitude destination. You are responsible for ensuring you are fit to travel and for disclosing relevant medical conditions. Our itineraries are paced for acclimatization, but altitude affects everyone differently.

Liability

We act as an organizer coordinating local services. We are not liable for losses arising from events beyond our reasonable control, including weather, road conditions, permit decisions, or changes in regulations.
